Prosthetic dentures make it possible to improve the shape, colour and inclination of a tooth. Extensive reconstruction of the teeth can be used to alter height and type of occlusion.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Inlays, onlays and overlays<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are fillings made in the laboratory that replace lost parts of teeth to return them to their original anatomical shape.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>\u00a0Crowns<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The function of all types of properly made crowns is the same \u2013 the only fundamental difference lies in their appearance. It goes without saying that there is a direct relationship between price and appearance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li class=\"translation-block\">All-ceramic crowns are\u00a0completely white and provide the most faithful imitation of the structure\u00a0of a healthy tooth<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Metallo-ceramic crowns have a\u00a0metal base and an all-white surface<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"translation-block\">All-metal crowns are made\u00a0completely of metal, with no part of the crown being white; they are used\u00a0for the back teeth<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Resin crowns are the\u00a0colour of a tooth, though they darken very quickly and do not have\u00a0adequate mechanical resistance, for which reason they are used only as\u00a0temporary crowns<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Bridges<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bridge is a prosthetic that replaces one or more lost teeth. It is permanently anchored to the teeth surrounding the gap where the lost tooth or teeth used to be.
